Fabrication CAMduct 2007

Lately, I've been wondering what the next big thing in tech's going to be. And then I found Fabrication CAMduct 2007. What happened at Fabrication CAMduct 2007? Read this post to find out! Fabrication CAMduct 2007 was a large-scale event, with thousands of attendees. They had sessions on all sorts of topics - from programming to robotics to design - and many speakers took part in Q&A sessions. There were also plenty of exhibits showcasing everything from 3D printing software to new electric vehicles, with panels on art and technology as well as lectures on the future of computing, medicine, or food production. When you think of Fabrication, what goes through your mind? Read on to learn about the future of digitizing materials with CAM! CAM is defined here as “Computer-Aided Manufacturing.” It's used in all sorts of ways, from design to customer service to spatial planning - and it's probably used in most applications you can think of. Some examples include computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided planning (CAM), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), computer-assisted milling (CAM), automated quality control (again... CAM!), and so on. CAM is a method of verifying or improving the process of manufacturing by using computers. It requires a lot of data collection, computation, and programming to use successfully - but there's a lot to gain from it, too. This isn't the only CAM conference around. In fact, it's not even the biggest one. Some of the bigger, internationally-acclaimed CAM conferences are SPIE Machining and Manufacturing, IMS Machining and Automation, and CGC Machining and Manufacturing - all of which have been held in more than one country. So why would I want to go to a CAM conference? Well... it's always fun to see what's going on in the world of manufacturing! Also, I like to meet with other designers and engineers; we're basically all trying to get our work done. There's plenty of camaraderie there (and some great food), whether you're interested in learning new techniques or sharing your own knowledge. And there's something about the camaraderie of a large group of people who have an interest in one particular topic - it's amazing to see so many people from so many different walks of life, all sharing a common goal of helping manufacturers. Fabrication CAMduct 2007 had a lot going for it! What was Fabrication CAMduct 2007 about? What can you get from going to Fabrication CAMduct 2007? If you're interested in going to Fabrication CAMduct 2008 (to come), follow this link: “This year I'm looking forward to designing and building what will hopefully be the ultimate fabrication CAD/CAM machine. eccc085e13
